What this site is

Rate My Clip is a small community site for sharing and rating gaming clips. It is run as a hobby project, provided as-is, with no uptime guarantees and no warranty of any kind. It can change or shut down at any time.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself. Accounts may be banned or removed at the admins' discretion, particularly for the conduct rules below.

Your content

You keep ownership of the clips you upload. By uploading, you give the site permission to store, transcode, and publicly display your clips (hosting is handled by a PeerTube instance). Only upload content you have the right to share. Uploads, ratings, and comments are visible to everyone.

Deleting a clip removes it from the site and from the video host. Deleting your account (ask an admin) removes your clips, ratings, and comments.

Conduct

• No illegal content, and nothing you don't have the rights to post.
• No harassment, hate, or abuse in comments.
• No spam, scraping, or attempts to disrupt or abuse the service.
• Keep it gaming clips — this isn't general-purpose video hosting.

Admins may remove any content or account that breaks these rules, without notice.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of this site are not liable for any damages arising from your use of it, including loss of uploaded content.
